Chapter XIV: ...Not Quite Really Dead Yet;
Friday, December 15, 2006
Life after A levels has been really hectic. Trying to squeeze in so many outings to catch up with so many people to do so many things has been really really tiring... so tiring that I haven't been blogging for quite a long time.
I really would like to blog about everything I have done so far but it would take too much a burden on my limited brain power. Hence, I am going to only narrate the day i spent yesterday!
Yesterday was my brother's birthday... and so began the crazy morning that i had. Scrambling around to get all the things done before I left, so that my brother would have a great celebration at night. soon after, I went to yiyang's house to run! hahahaha... actually i didn't run much cause my whole body was still aching from running excessively for the past week. After tiring out my body even more, I decided that it was time to go for band. By that time, the rain was already pouring like siao liao... then i had to run across the unsheltered road to reach the bus-stop to school. So i dashed acrossed it like the madman I am, drowning myself in the heavy rain that was pouring. When I reached school, I got lost in the blardy large SALT centre trying to find the band room. I walked up and down numerous flights of stairs, only to reach dead-ends, empty rooms and horrifying corridors. Seriously, the place was so ******* dark even in the afternoon, and you feel as though you are acting in a horror film. I was finally rescued by the ever-glowing sunyang, who looked really red after her netball game with her class. When I reached the band room, the entire band was still having practice, so I started having a long long chat with sunyang when suddenly isaac appeared outside the room! I just realised that this entry is getting to be very long...
So i chatted with him for a while, and then returned to chat with sunyang till band practice ended. Being in the new band room felt all to familiar. The ruckus and crazy noise after band practice, band people dashing around to get things done... hai... Anyway I had great fun packing the stuff for the band people leaving for thailand. Hohohoho... what fun it was... after that, we left for lunch (at 3 pm.... so it is more like linner) in the still pouring-now even heavier rain. Therefore, we decided to take a taxi down to bukit timah plaza to eat pizza hut! And poor bernard was stretching his hands out in the poruing rain to hail the taxis-with literally blind taxi drivers-would couldn't give a **** about poor ex-jc students starnded in the rain. Kudos to bernard and go to hell to the taxi drivers. When our taxi finally reached bt timah plaza, the rest were standing there... waiting to unload the horrifying truth that pizza hut is closed for renovation till 15 dec. What the *&%$*#@*#%$@ la... One more day only, just open the freaking restaurant and pq threatened to kick open the doors to let us in. Having no other choices, we adjourned to the kfc outlet downstairs to have our linner and thus, wasting all the running I had done so far...hahahaha... But having a meal with the bandies was such great fun! hai... how i missed those days when we ganged up on sara (yesterday pq... oh poor pq), listen to bernard's freezing comments, chelly's complete blurness (and hotness... hahahahahaha), shengqi niao-ing mong, sitting beside a stinking lormee, alfred's craaaaaaziness, yunwei defending the poor pq and oh poor pq.... ok the entry is getting too long...
After leaving the band people, I went back home to celebrate my bro's bdae with a tiramisu cake (and now i have to run 1726372391287312 miles liao). And so sorry 4a people! especially minG!!!! I still couldn't make it in the end... hai... budden I heard that you all had a great time! Please call me again when you all go out ok!
So now it is time to leave my house again... to catch up with an old friend and to send the band people off to thailand (... oh stupid NS... now i can't get to see those dancing transvestites liao).
i am going mad... are you?
life and death is an endless cycle, just like everything else
